Himf trading as Mayroons (“Mayroons”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates Mayroons.co.za and the Mayroons mobile application, including the Mayroons online store and related services.
Mayroons sells dried fruits, nuts, sweets, sours, syrups, imported products and other food and consumer products.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect personal information when you visit our website, use our mobile application, create an account, contact us or purchase products from us.
We process personal information in accordance with applicable South African law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).

3. Personal Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Mayroons, we may collect information including your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address, account details, order history, products purchased, transaction information, customer communications and information submitted through contact or enquiry forms.

Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may have the right to ask whether Mayroons holds personal information about you, request access to your personal information, request correction of inaccurate or outdated information, request deletion or destruction where Mayroons is no longer authorised to retain information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and object to direct marketing.

We may require reasonable information to confirm your identity before processing a privacy request.
Certain information cannot be deleted where Mayroons is legally required or otherwise legally entitled to retain it.

You may request the deletion of your Mayroons customer account by contacting info@mayroons.co.za or through an account-deletion facility provided through the website or app where available.
Deleting an account does not necessarily require us to delete information that must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, transaction or other lawful purposes.

Mayroons’ online services are not specifically directed at children.
A person under the age of 18 who is not legally competent to independently provide the required consent should use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian or other competent person where required.
